Janco van der Wateren

Janx is the psychedelic trance project of Janco van der Wateren, a DJ and selector based in Wellington in the Western Cape, South Africa.

Drawing from the deep psytrance and forest sounds that shape the South African dance scene, Janx builds sets that move between hypnotic grooves and lifted, melodic peaks — built for the open air and the tail end of a long night.

He has played at gatherings including Little Forest Festival and Organik Love Project, and is available for festival bookings, club nights and private events across South Africa.
